Highlights from CLEO: A non-invasive Glucose Sensor based on mid-infrared laser spectroscopy attracted considerable attention when it was demonstrated during the CLEO exhibition in San Jose, May 15-17, 2018. It was an excellent opportunity to present a technology, which has progressed from laboratory R&D to field-readiness for the real-world applications to the conference attendees. Young Women’s Conference in STEM

We participated in the Young Women’s Conference (YWC) held at Princeton University on May 21, 2018 to introduce and encourage young women to study science, technology, mathematics and engineering. Our graduate students shared with middle-school and high-school students their experience as scientists and encouraged them to pursue their careers in the field of engineering. The event had over 700 students attend from about 65 schools and there were about 1000 people at the event including attendees,  exhibitors, speakers and volunteers. Click…

Eastern Analytical Symposium 2018

During a three day exhibition at the Eastern Analytical Symposium we  had a chance to discuss with scientists and industrial attendees a practical use of mid-infrared spectroscopic technologies. A non-invasive glucose sensor based on mid-IR laser spectroscopy  demonstrated by our researchers attracted considerable attention when it was demonstrated at our booth. It was an excellent opportunity to present a technology, which has progressed from laboratory R&D to field-readiness for the real-world applications to EAS attendees.

Science Day with YSAP

On April 13th we hosted Young Science Achievers Program (YSAP) Day on Princeton University campus. YSAP’s mission is to inspire and encourage high school students from underrepresented groups to pursue fields of studies and careers in STEM fields.
